How will my data and content be stored?

cannyboard is a cloud solution. This gives you, the user, unparalleled flexibility, as your content and data can be accessed at any time and from anywhere. And not only that - your data is also secure in every respect.

Our multi-touch devices (Sessionboard) do not store user data or content. They are merely the interactive stages for group work, with content stored in the cloud.

Where are the data?

All user data and content as well as the corresponding backups are secured exclusively by AWS.

What data is stored when working with cannyboard?

If you only use screen sharing, no data will be saved. For all other functions, the registration of a user account with name and password is necessary. In this account, all content (drawings, handwriting, text, images, videos and screenshots) is stored in Sessions.

Is my data safe in the cloud?

cannyboard data is stored distributed, continuously replicated and backed up to a backup server. This provides protection in the extremely rare event of component failure and ensures high availability and consistency.

Is my content always available?

cannyboard cooperates with AWS, the world leader in cloud computing. This guarantees an almost complete availability of 99.9%. Your work with cannyboard is therefore reliable and your content almost completely available.

Is my data and content safe from access?

Content at cannyboard always has a single owner and is securely stored in his password-protected cannyboard account. That is: it cannot be seen by others – not even by employees of cannyboard or our partners. User data and content are encrypted both during transmission and storage according to the latest standards.

Does cannyboard process data in a DSGVO-compliant manner?

in2systems GmbH takes the security of your data very seriously. That is why we defined the processing of personal data and the associated business processes at an early stage. We have had these measures checked and approved by a neutral third party with regard to DSGVO specifications.
