Requirements for your personal device

cannyboard as a cloud-based technology is accessed and used on your personal device (laptop / PC, smarthone or tablet) in your browser. For this reason the manufacturer and/or the operating system of your device plays a minor role - cannyboard runs on all operating systems.

Internet connection

Cannyboard as a cloud-based solution requires an existing Internet connection in any case. The type of Internet access is not decisive, it can be either a connection-based access (LAN / WLAN) or a mobile data connection (3G / LTE). The following applies here: The larger the data volume of the content (text < image < video), the more helpful a fast Internet connection is.

Browser

The personal device must have the most recent version of a common web browser. You can find out more about browser requirements here. 

HDMI connector or corresponding adapter

You can share the screen of your personal device on the Sessionboard. To do this, your device must have a type A HDMI socket. Alternatively, you can also use an HDMI adapter on another socket of your device (e.g. USB, Lightning etc.)

To take full advantage of the resolution (UHD) and frequency (60Hz) of the Sessionboard, your connection should be version 2.0.
