Start first voting
Only the host can start voting. All participants of a Session can take part in the vote, regardless of the set release mode of the Session.
Follow these steps:
- As the host, open the Main Menu of the active Session on the Sessionboard or in Desktop Editing and tap on the " Dot Voting" tool.
Please note: The "Dot Voting" tool is only available to the host. This function is not included in the Main Menu of the other participants.
- Tap / click "Start new voting".
- The Dot Voting Widget opens. You and all other participants in the Session can now vote on points.
- Award your votes (LINK) to the content of the Session. Discuss in advance how many points are available to each person.
Please note: Voting can take place across Phases. Points can also be awarded to content that is in a different Phase.
End voting
An ongoing vote is active during the entire Session and can only be ended by the host on the Session board or on the laptop / PC.
Follow these steps:
- Tap / click on the "End" button of the Dot Voting widget.
- The current voting will be ended and the votes will be saved. The result of the voting is displayed in different sizes depending on the number of votes. In the Dot Voting widget you now also have the option to hide the votes, delete the vote or start a new one.
Please note: An ongoing voting is stopped as soon as the host closes the Session. The vote is automatically saved and can be continued when the Session is reopened.
