Starting Screen Sharing on the Sessionboard

Via Screen Sharing you can share the contents of your personal device screen to the Sessionboard. The function can be used with an HDMI cable or wireless via WiFi connection. Screen Sharing is accessible directly from the Start Screen or in a newly started or opened Session via the Screen Sharing Widget:

Accessing Screen Sharing from the Start Screen

Screen Sharing is the easiest way to work with cannyboard. You can use the function directly from the Start Screen without registration and login.

Proceed as follows:

1. Turn on the Sessionboard.
2. After a few seconds, the Start Screen will be displayed. Tap on the red "Touch to Start" button.
   

   

3. You are in Screen Sharing mode, which by default displays a Screen Sharing Widget prompting you to connect your personal device via HDMI cable.
   

   

4. Connect the included HDMI cable to your own device and the HDMI-In port of the Sessionboard in order to share your screen. However, you can switch to wireless Screen Sharing and connect to the specified wireless network.

Accessing Screen Sharing in a Session

When creating a new Session on the Sessionboard, the Screen Sharing Widget opens automatically on the Workspace in order to allow a faster start into Screen Sharing. Otherwise, Screen Sharing can be started at any time from the Main Menu in an open Session.

Proceed as follows:

1. Open the Main Menu and tap on the Screen Sharing connection you want to use.

   

2. A Screen Sharing Widget appears on the Workspace with a request to connect your personal device.
   
3. To share your screen, connect your personal device to the connection type you have chosen, i.e. the existing HDMI cable or the specified wireless network.
