What is Screen Sharing?

With Screen Sharing you can share the contents of your personal device (laptop / tablet / smartphone) directly to the Sessionboard and to the Workspace on personal devices. This is possible both locally via HDMI cable or WLAN, and via the Internet when participating in a video call.

All content that you display via Screen Sharing on the Sessionboard is thus also visible to the local group or participants of the video call. This makes nearly everything that you have stored or can call up on your personal device the subject of your group work:

Local content on your hard drive:

• Slide presentations (PowerPoint, Keynote, Prezi, etc.)
• Documents (Word, Excel, PDF, etc.)
• Movies (via your player, e.g. Windows Media Player, QuickTime, etc.)
• 3D data (e.g. CAD)

Online content via browser:

• Cloud documents (e.g. via Google Drive, iCloud, etc.)
• Web content (e.g. YouTube, Wikipedia, etc.)
